Founder and Principal Consultant
Over two decades guiding youth and families through behavioral health, education, and treatment systems across California and the nation.
Chappell Strategies LLC was founded on a simple belief: every young person deserves timely, compassionate, and culturally responsive access to behavioral health support, and no family should have to find their way alone.
Our founder, Faith Chappell, brings more than two decades of experience spanning special education, mental health navigation, and residential treatment. Beginning her career as an undergraduate in 2004 and deepening her expertise over the years, Faith has spent the last eight years traveling nationally to support families navigating every level of behavioral health care, from outpatient services to therapeutic boarding programs and everything in between.
We work alongside families, schools, counties, and community organizations, serving as the trusted bridge between young people who need support and the systems built to provide it.
Former founder and operator of a residential teen treatment program, with direct expertise in mental health, substance use, and youth crisis services.
Master of Education degree in Special Education, informing a whole-child, trauma-informed approach to every youth and family we serve.
A personalized, step-by-step approach that guides families from identifying the right services all the way through enrollment, removing barriers at every stage.
Over eight years of firsthand experience visiting and evaluating treatment programs across the country at every level of care, from outpatient to long-term residential.
We offer a range of consulting and navigation services tailored to the needs of families, schools, counties, and community organizations.
Personalized, concierge-level guidance to help families identify, access, and enroll in the right mental health and substance use services for their young person.
Partnering with K-12 schools to build clear, accessible referral pathways and enrollment systems that connect students to behavioral health support.
Supporting families through school systems, from IEP meetings and special education services to behavioral health referrals and academic accommodations.
Coordinating across county agencies, schools, and community providers to ensure youth receive continuous, connected care without falling through the gaps.
Culturally responsive outreach to connect underserved youth and families, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and foster and system-involved youth, to available resources.
Consulting to county agencies and nonprofits on program design, service access models, and youth-centered systems change grounded in real-world treatment expertise.
When your child is enrolled in a boarding school, staying connected and informed can feel impossible. Schools offer few conferences, limited updates, and little translation between clinical, academic, and family needs. Chappell Strategies bridges that gap.
We serve as your dedicated liaison, communicating directly with school staff, attending virtual meetings on your behalf, and translating everything into clear, actionable summaries so you always know how your child is doing and what steps to take next.

We bring deep, direct experience working with the young people who face the greatest barriers to accessing behavioral health support. Our work is rooted in equity, cultural humility, and the conviction that every young person deserves a clear, compassionate path to care.
Whether you are a family navigating a difficult moment, a school strengthening its behavioral health supports, or an organization interested in partnering, we would love to hear from you.
